The history of the "Ostrowiec Foundry" dates back to the early 19th century.
In the inter-war period, the Foundry was part of "Zakłady Ostrowieckie",
after 1945 it was incorporated into Huta Marcelego Nowotki and then Huta Ostrowiec.
